Ambit Energy Expands Service to PPL Territory

On April 7th, 2011, Ambit Energy began servicing customers in the PPL territory in Pennsylvania. This expansion adds about 1.4 million new potential customers. Combined with the PECO territory that Ambit Energy already services, there are about 2.8 million potential customers in PA which account for about $3.1 billion in potential revenue!

    According to an article in The Daily Item today, PPL has lost 40% of its residential customers since deregulation. Those customers are utilizing their right to choose an alternative company, like Ambit Energy, and lower their rate.
